This year (as I do every year) I'm going to Anime Detour. I've decided to go as Krieg the Psycho from Borderlands 2 (A female take of course). I'm really excited about building his costume. I have his necklace completed, his mask, belt buckle.. pants are almost done.. shoes came in the wrong size.. blah blah. I'm working on it. It will be epic. You'll see.
I've been really behind on sculpting lately. I've been so busy with Russian classes, work, and my costume. I really want to sculpt a new Princess Luna and a piece from Маша и Медведь that I'm really looking forward to. I can't seem to find the motivation to work on them because my Princess Twilight was recently broken and I'm slowly bringing myself around to repairing her. She was FINISHED and I was nearly done priming her for painting.
Wings broke, so I pulled them off, horn broke, leg broke, hair broke off. I've fixed a few of these things, but the wings will be the largest pain in the ass.
What do you guys do when you lose motivation? I want to keep sculpting of course, I love it, and I start new projects.. I just can't seem to bring myself back to the old ones.

Back into the swing of things
I'm trying to get back into posting on DeviantArt as well as my Twitter page. I've set aside sculpting for a long time and am more focused on drawing. None of my drawings are done digitally, mostly because I've never learned how to and my knowledge of computers is.. well.. almost nonexistent.
Copic Nightmare.
Lately I have been up to my eyeballs in Copic Sketch marker practice and it's either very successful or very horrible.
Tutorial after tutorial.. after tutor..i..al.. hnnnnggg...
The most difficulty I've been having with these markers is coloring large, detailed areas. I wind up having one of two problems. Either A. I get lots of lines from coloring too fast/too slow or B. I get the blotchy effect from lying down too much ink. Dark skin tones is proving to be such a challenge for me, and there are SO many pieces I want to color with dark skin tones. Deep reds and blues even for specific characters, I just can't accomplish it.

Wandering the World
I never forget about DeviantArt and I check it all the time, but posting is another story.
I've stepped away from sculpting ponies for a while and really started drawing and experimenting with Copic Sketch Markers, which I am now addicted to. I've also started customizing Littlest Pet Shop figures into Pokemon.
I've been a little lost this past year. I returned to Minnesota recently after spending two and a half months in France. My original plan was to teach English in Russia - so I studied Russian for a couple years, but that fell through and my life sent me to France. I don't even speak the language.
Actually, I lived with someone in F
Oh yeah, I have a Journal.
I am on DA nearly every day, yet I have somehow managed to forget I have a journal.
I've started drawing again. Coloring even. For the longest time I just couldn't stand it because I have too much noise in my head constantly. I have finally gotten my mind to quiet down and I am drawing all the time now. It's really enjoyable.
I haven't been sculpting as much, but I am currently finishing up a Derpy Hooves and I have plans to attempt a human sculpt.

First i'm looking forward to your Cosplay. If it's at the same quality as your sculpt, even close friends of you will have trouble to recognize you again.
As for the sculpts, i don't have a waterproof solution. What happen to your Twilight is horrible and i'm sure you're faster with resculpt some parts than fix everything. Another benefit of that is, the new parts will be better than the old ones. Happen to me every time and i'm not the only one who can prove that.
for example told on a interview that one of the MLP Comics Cover (that one) was made twice by him. Why? Just hear him.
